The road east ends at a tavern with no name, where a hooded Master deals the cards, for a price. The Eastern Tavern is a free card game you play in your browser, on a PC or a phone, with nothing to install and no ads.
The Long Road is the single-player roguelike: one life, a branching map through the Hollow Wood, the Carpathian Marches and the Jade Wastes, fights you can scout first, Elites with their own rules, bosses from European and Chinese legend, relics, events and Heat levels 0 to 5. Multiplayer seats up to 8 players at the Master's table: recruit minions in the tavern, build your board and battle the others automatically, board against board; bots fill the empty seats, so you can always play, alone or with friends in a private room.
Five tribes, Beasts, Mechs, Elementals, Corsairs and Cultists, plus Neutral minions; heroes such as Brannoc the Houndmaster, Vessa the Tinker, Ashra the Kindler, Captain Rook, Sable the Spellwright and Tobin the Innkeeper, each with a power of their own.
